live fast, die

It seems a few people missed the point of my Juno commentary. Im not saying i hated the film, cause i sat through it and thought it was ok. My point was just that the way it was packaged and presented was totally predictable and it was meant to be something different. Which lead me to the point that now when you watch an 'indie' movie you pretty much know what its going to be like, in the same way you know what devices an action movie is going to use. The whole aesthetic of indie movies is now just as predictable as a Michael Bay one. Thats all i was saying. I didnt say it was a bad thing, just that the automatic higher plateau indie movies reside upon, is misguided.

I am in rehearsals at the moment. Everyone else has gone on the daily 2hr lunch break. I dont go because i usually wake up late, and have a massive bowl of cereal. So when i turn up late, im full, and then an hr later everyone breaks for lunch. So i stay in the room and either design, try to sort out my lyrics or write this blog. Today i also recieved a few skateboard decks that i ordered. A bunch of limited edition Creature decks, and some old school Powell and Santa Cruz ones. They are nice.

Evolution without the R isn't evolution at all.

Ive seen it too. The movie was ok but i didnt like very much the Junos character. I think she was too much confident and she was like:"hmm ok im pregnat and what?"
I dont know person who would be so ignorant to what people think. and when ur 16 i think ur conscious of what pregnancy means...I just that she was acting like she was 11. thats my opinion.
btw have a nice day :D

live fast, die OLD.
i dont get the whole point of saying live fast die young. well i get it. but i dont get the point of promoting wanting to die young.
i think i'm going to just leave it at that. even though it has no relevants to your blog. i still felt like rambling on about that point. Actually good blog idea.
Ta Ian.

Who made you watch Juno anyway? It's like the last movie I would picture you go and see. Did you lose a bet? O_o;
Anyway, I'm so excited for June 5th Melkweg. It'd better be good, 'cause it's gonna be my first concert in a really long while. x) And make sure you come outside after the show! ^^

Also i wanted to thank you for things you've made in lps. I have my band, i play guitar in it and i'm influenced of lps, sorry for my english :D It would be so cool to share scene someday!

the design for the new record better be sick..!!
i really liked start something.

u said this record would be 'dark'. and im wondering wat u meant by that. i hope u arent following the whole trend of 'blood' 'death' 'suicide' kinda stuff.. it seems like all those bands nowadays think they just have to put anything death related in their image and they're cool rock bands....
ive always loved how u guys werent following this trend and were proud to sing about positive stuff in a COOL way. start something was the ultimate. and, we still kill the old way and to hell we ride r the anthems of my life.
but anyway, i cannot wait for the new album! keep us updated!
